I've loved mythology and folklore since I was a child. I then had years of fun working as a children's librarian, encouraging children to enjoy reading. My fantasy novels include The Tears of Artamon sequence which was influenced by the music and legends of Eastern Europe. Oh - and I'm also a complete manga-head and regularly review anime and manga for AUKN.
Author of the novels Ack-Ack Macaque, The Recollection and Silversands, all of which were favourably reviewed in The Guardian, and the short story collection The Last Reef, which Morpheus Tales described as “One of the finest collections of SF short stories I have had the privilege of reading”.
