Inclusivity, diversity, feminism, cultural heritage, indigeniety, identity, and issues of gender and race are things I write about and deal with in my work. I am passionate about the written word, art, music and history and how these things influence us and the way we look at the world around us. I am a Filipina in the diaspora and I am an Octavia Butler scholar.
