I've loved mythology and folklore since I was a child. I then had years of fun working as a children's librarian, encouraging children to enjoy reading. My fantasy novels include The Tears of Artamon sequence which was influenced by the music and legends of Eastern Europe. Oh - and I'm also a complete manga-head and regularly review anime and manga for AUKN.

Gaie Sebold

My first novel, Babylon Steel, came out in 2012, the sequel, Dangerous Gifts, came out this year, both from Solaris. I write short stories and occasional poetry, I'm embarking on a steampunk novel for Solaris and have at least 6 other projects lined up. They involve, variously, sex, steam, swords, dead people, orcs, and Dylan Thomas.
